Pepha®-Tight CB is a highly purified extract from the microalgae Nannochloropsis oculata, combined with a well-balanced fraction of polysaccharides. This biotechnologically produced extract serves as a skin tightener, offering immediate tightening effects. It has demonstrated the ability to protect human fibroblasts from oxidative stress, concurrently promoting the formation of collagen. This dual action results in a long-term tightening effect by strengthening the skin's connective tissue.
Ideal for various skin tightening applications, including lifting products, masks, décolleté treatments, gels, and serums.
In comparative testing between Pepha®-Tight and Pepha®-Tight CB conducted by the manufacturer, the removal of preservatives showed no negative impact on the tested formulations or their stability. In systems based on electrolyte-sensitive thickeners, Pepha®-Tight CB exhibited a lower decrease in viscosity compared to Pepha®-Tight. Additionally, the comparison of color change at different pH levels did not reveal any significant difference between the two products.

Pepha®-Tight is compatible with ethanol at concentrations up to 10%
- Pepha®-Tight is an opalescent to turbid liquid, so slightly turbid liquid so it's usual to observe a slight turbidity of clouding in aqueous solutions containing this active. This doesn't influence the activity of Pepha®-Tight in a cosmetic formula.
