The Argan (Argania spinosa) tree, an extraordinary thorny tree primarily found in the southwestern regions of Morocco, yields one of the world's rarest oils from its seeds. Flourishing in the arid climate of this area, the fruits of the Argan tree require nearly a year to ripen. Comprising a thin, fleshy, and challenging-to-peel exterior surrounding an inner nut with up to three large seeds, it is these seeds that are rich in essential fatty acids, tocopherols, phytosterols, and triterpene alcohols.

Argan oil boasts an impressive composition, with up to 80% unsaturated fatty acids, predominantly Oleic acid (45%) and Linoleic acid (35%).
