• CoQ10 Powder is oil soluble, but its solubility is relatively low.
• To incorporate it into an oil, the oil should be gently heated to about 120°F (49°C) and the powder stirred into it, wherein it will readily dissolve. 
• Due to its low solubility, it can precipitate out of solution in an oil over time.  If this occurs, gently warm the oil and shake to redistribute the CoQ10 throughout the oil before formulating with it. 
• For emulsions:
• Cold process: Simply add to the oil phase and heat sufficiently to dissolve before adding to a cold process emulsion.
• Hot process: CoQ10 is not heat sensitive and can be added to the oil phase of a formulation before heating or can be solubilized in a small amount of warmed oil and added later (the former method will insure complete emulsification of the oil and is preferred).

HOIW TO USE 

Kojic Acid Dipalmitate (KAD) can tend to form a crystal precipitate in some cosmetic formulations.  It is recommended to add Isopropyl Palmitate or Isopropyl Myristate to the oil phase containing KAD and heat to 80°C (167°F) and hold for 5 minutes until the KAD dissolves completely. Then add the oil phase to the aqueous phase and emulsify for about 10 minutes. Stable from pH 3 to 10.

Sepiwhite™ MSH is a highly effective skin lightener and brightener suitable for all skin types and ethnicities, delivering a more even and radiant complexion with visible results in just seven days. Scientific studies have illustrated an increase in skin luminosity and a decrease in the number and color of hyperpigmented spots. Sepiwhite™ MSH can be seamlessly combined with other active ingredients, such as niacinamide or AHAs.

Developed from phenylalanine, an essential amino acid involved in melanin synthesis, Sepiwhite™ MSH is a lipoaminoacid or vectorized amino acid. Acting as an alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) receptor agonist, it inhibits the melanin synthesis process from the hypothalamus, leading to a reduction in melanic pigments in skin cells.

In two studies, a lotion containing 1% Sepiwhite™ MSH combined with 5% niacinamide was applied. Volunteers reported a noticeable reduction in hyperpigmentation after eight weeks of usage, emphasizing the efficacy of this combination.

• In an eight week study using 2% Sepiwhite™ MSH alone, 83% of volunteers reported a more radiant complexion, 73% fewer age spots, 100% lighter age spots, and 100% more even complexion and skin tone.

HOW TO USE 

• Use 0.2% in combination with another brightener, otherwise up to 2% in the heated water or heated oil phase of a formulation at more than 60°C (140°F).
• In a product with pH 5 or lower, incorporate into any type of formula.
• In a product above pH 5, but below 6.2, can incorporate with the use of up to 20% ethanol. Not the ideal pH range for this ingredient.
• In a product with pH 6.2 or higher, incorporation into any type of formula is possible.

The Silk Amino Acids PF (Paraben-Free) with CAS Number 96690-41-4, combined with water (CAS Number 7732-18-5), are hydrolyzed from pure silk fibers. The anti-wrinkle octapeptide SNAP-8™ is an extension of the renowned hexapeptide Argireline®. Specifically designed to address facial wrinkles induced by muscle contractions, particularly in the forehead and around the eyes, SNAP-8™ mimics the N-terminal end of SNAP-25. It competes with SNAP-25 for a position in the SNARE complex, modulating its formation. By destabilizing the SNARE complex slightly, the vesicle's efficient neurotransmitter release is hindered, leading to the attenuation of muscle contraction and preventing the development of lines and wrinkles.

Similar to Argireline, SNAP-8™ inhibits SNARE complex formation and catecholamine release, resulting in a reduction in the severity of existing facial wrinkles and demonstrated effectiveness in preventing their formation with regular use. Clinical studies show a decrease in the severity of wrinkles around the eyes by up to 63.13%. Both in vivo and in vitro efficacy testing indicates that SNAP-8™ is approximately 30% more active than its parent peptide, Argireline. Supplied by the manufacturer, this product contains 0.05% SNAP-8™ powder, also known as Acetyl Octapeptide-3.

SNAP-8™ stands out as a safer, more cost-effective, and milder alternative to Botulinum Toxin, targeting the same mechanism of wrinkle formation but through a distinct approach. It can be seamlessly incorporated into cosmetic formulations such as emulsions, gels, and serums where the reduction of deep lines or wrinkles in the forehead or around the eyes is desired.

SNAP-8 can be incorporated at the final stage of the manufacturing process, provided the temperature is below 40°C (104°F). For storage it is recommended to store at 4°C (39°F). In rare cases, refrigerated storage of SNAP-8™ Solution can cause precipitation of the preservative. This does not affect the integrity of the product.
