Tetrapeptide-30 Solution is an innovative peptide designed to harmonize skin tone. Diverse mechanisms contribute to brightening the skin, such as diminishing or inhibiting tyrosinase activity, impeding melanin transfer into keratinocytes, and hindering melanocyte activation. Tetrapeptide-30 Solution is thought to operate by reducing tyrosinase levels and inhibiting melanocyte activation.
In vivo studies on skin lightening have demonstrated Tetrapeptide-30 Solution's remarkable ability to reduce yellow skin tone within 4 weeks and fade age spots after 8 weeks. Significant improvements in overall appearance were observed after 2 weeks, and enhanced skin tone evenness was evident after 4 weeks. Skin lesions showed a substantial reduction after 4 weeks of use. According to the manufacturer, combining Tetrapeptide-30 Solution with Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a Vitamin C derivative, significantly enhances its performance. All studies were conducted with a usage rate equivalent to 2.5% Tetrapeptide-30 Solution in the test formulation.

HOW TO USE
Preparation of O/W emulsion (cream or lotion): Tetrapeptide-30 Solution can either be added during the cooling process at temperatures below 40°C (104°F) or directly to the water phase of the emulsion in cold-process formulations. Then the emulsion is prepared as usual.
Preparation of W/O emulsion (cream or lotion): Tetrapeptide-30 Solution can either be added prior to the homogenization at temperatures below 30°C (86°F) or directly to the water phase in cold-process formulations. Then the W/O-emulsion is prepared as usual.
